Astrid nodded. "It's the first day, so I don't think the teacher will be too mad. Do you like it here so far?" she asks, beginning to walk toward class. Her ears turn to hear Oceanna's answer. She swiped a two granola bars, and stuffed one in her bag, and handing the other to Oceanna. She winked, grinning. Just in case I get hungry....
Ember stopped mid-step, feeling A'ine's mind in her own. This time, it didn't make her recoil, mentally, or phsically. Instead, she smiled, relaxing. I don't know what I'd do without her right now. Gosh, I wish I could help her in someway, but....She had a sudden thought. If she can read my mind, maybe I could communicate with her... She tried something. Focusing on A'ine's presence in her mind, she thought, "Thank you, I'd like that. I'd like that a lot." She waits, wondering if it will work, her back to A'ine.
"Don't worry, if he does, just say your a phoenix. And I'm sure he won't ask us to transform," Orion begins to laugh at the thought he just had. He voiced it to Jora, "Imagine a bunch of kids, who've never been to school before all transforming in a classroom. Fire, ice, water, hooves, claws, and fangs would be everywhere! We'd probably knock the whole school down! In my monster form, I would probably take up half the classroom on my own, and I'm sure there are monsters bigger than me," He laughs again at the thought of all those animals crowded in the same room.

@Bmr, Yin,
Corwin blushed. "W-what? No! She's just a friend!" he insisted to Serene, hoping Bella didn't hear. "Ah! Why do they say this stuff to me?!" he thought to himself. He saw Bella nod at Alderic. "Um.. Yeah I think so. I mean, I don't wanna be rude..." she said, glancing at Corwin. And then Alderic dragged Serene over. To Bella, it seemed much lighter. Just then, Bella saw a door which said, "Equine Class. Ms. Celeste". She smiled. "Hey guys! Here is our classroom!" she said as she gestured them over, still having Corwin in her right arm.

@Jadelion,
Oceanna nodded. "Yeah actually. Everyone here is really nice." she said, grinning at Astrid. "She took the granola bar from Astrid and stashed it in her pocket. "Thanks." she said. "Nothing wrong with taing a snack with you!" she said, with a giggle. She looked over to multiple doors. "So which one's your classroom?" she asked.
@Bmr, Desiree,
Serene laughed. "Oh yeah, let's. You'd love to hear what happened when you were gone...." she said, laughing. She listened to Alderic's other comment. "Mm, yeah I guess. He's seemed a little quiet ever since he walked up to us." she said with a shrug. "He's probably not used to having friends. Maybe we are his first." she said again, glancing at A'eda'n. She looked at the door Bella was pointing to. "Looks like this is our stop..." she said. She entered the room first. The walls were clean, and the room smelled nice. The teacher, who was Ms. Celeste, saw them come in, and gave them a smile. "Welcome students! Please, take your seats!" she said, gesturing her arm over to some tables.
----
Ms. Celeste smiled at the students who had first come in. "I cant wait to get to know everyone!" she thought.

"I'm actually kinda lousy at painting. I'll sketch something, and be really proud of it, but when I paint it in..." Orion shakes his head, "I usually color in stuff with colored pencils. What about you?" he asks, turning his head to look at her. I never have got to discuss painting with anyone, or even have a friendly conversation! This is the first time I could without my dad getting riled up. He smiled, glad to be talking about one of his favorite things to do.
Ember smiled, so grateful that A'ine could read her thoughts. She nodded, turning to look at A'ine. Well maybe I can't read people's minds, but I can still communicate with her just by focusing my thoughts! She once again focused her thoughts. "Really? So he couldn't hear your thoughts in his mind?" She felt sort of guilty for being excited that she was the one A'ine could do it with.
"I'm in the animal class, but I don't know which door that is. Do you know how to tell?" asked Astrid, glancing at the doors. They all looked the same to her. "I guess we could try asking..." said Astrid, scanning the corridor. (Sorry, I couldn't think!)

A'eda'n walks into the room and trips a little bumping into Serene, "Oh sorry Serene, still haven't gotten use to legs." He mumbles to her and half way smiles to his new teacher. "Yes Ma'am." He said then slunk to a table in the middle-ish of the room.
_______
Alderic walks into the room and sees A'eda'n trip and bump into Serene. He smiles idiotically noticing that the two complemented each other. He thinks to himself Now this is going to be fun! He sits down at the first table in the front of the room, "Good morning miss Celeste, is that what you want us to call you?" He said thinking of a performer he know that ignored him if he didn't say what he wanted people to call him.
@Jadelion
Jora was starting to enjoy herself talking to Orion was really easy, he did judge he in the least. "Well, pencils are nice, too. I just like the feel of the paint brush as it pulls across the page." See looked up at a door and it said bird class. She frowned a little she wanted to keep talking to Orion but it made no sense to not go in. "Well I guess this is our class." She opened the door getting it over with. An older man stood behind the teacher's desk with glasses propped on the end of his nose looking over some papers. He looked up at the sound of the door and smiled at the two students.
_____
Alexander was trying to find his lesson for the first day, Drat! I need to organize my papers better or we'll end up doing the final exam on the second day. He thought to himself. He heard the door open and saw his first two students. He looks up smiling at them and said, "Come in, I'm just looking for the list of students and today's lesson."
_____
A'ine thought for a moment then thought-spoke to Ember, "No he couldn't, it must be a girl thing." She was excited it worked at all. She spoke aloud "We best not do it all the time or people will get suspicious that we 'never talk'." I walk out of the mess hall with Ember and look down all the halls, "A'eda'n was right I should have looked at the floor plan more carefully, do you know which way the classrooms are Ember?" She asks looking down the halls for any sign of the rooms.

Orion glanced around the room, his eye alighting on the the teacher. Smiling. That was good... he hoped. What do I do? I guess we just sit anywhere. He smiled at the teacher, and nodded. He turns to Jora, and asks quietly, "Where do you want to sit?" He was glad he could talk to her before class. It was nice to get to know what sort of art she liked. I bet we could have some pretty in-depth conversations about art. She might be able to give me a few tips on painting! It's nice to talk to someone who shares that interest. (Orion's has a wandering mind, so if his thoughts seem totally random, it's because his mind wanders.)
Ember spoke out loud as well. "I think that's mine," she says, pointing to a door two students walked in, a blue-haired boy, and a girl with brownish hair. She had caught a glimpse of the teacher and recognized him as the flying teacher. "You should probably get to your own class before you're late," Ember says, not feeling as scared anymore, now that she knew they could communicate.

Alexander was glad some of his students had come to class he enjoyed hearing them talk and laugh. He looked up at the two of them and thought for a moment. "Just checking off you two as here, you arre Jora and Orion, are you not?" He smiled at them hoping he go them right "If those names don't belong to you you'll have to forgive an old man him memory." He waited to see if he was was correct hovering over his sheet of paper with his pen.
_________
Jora couldn't believe the teacher took the time to learn all the students' names BEFORE class. She quickly turned to Orion smiling and answered his question first, "If you don't mind could we sit near the window? I love how the sky looks today..." She said losing herself with the thought of painting it. She turned back to Master Alexander, "Yes, sir, those names belong to us." She waited for Orion response to sitting by the window.
________
A'ine was glad Ember seemed less edgy about class. "Okay and I'll try and figure out where A'eda'n is. I don't see him in the hall and I don't feel him in the mess hall." She said to Ember starting to concentrate to find her brother, she felt him halfway down the hall on the opposite side of the school as the bird class. She opened her eyes staring at a door then pointed it out to Ember "And that's mine. Meet back here for lunch?" She asked Ember making sure she wouldn't lose her in the masses at lunch.

Orion liked how Master Alexander already knew their names. He must be a dedicated teacher. Orion looked out the window. The sky was pretty today, and Orion was fine with sitting by the window. He just hoped Master Alexander wouldn't mind if he looked out the window from time to time. He realized he hadn't answered Jora's question, and quickly said, "Fine with me! The sky is very pretty," He began to walk toward the window, and slid into a seat next to one by the window, letting Jora claim the one closest to the window if she wanted. I wonder who else is going to be in our class. Hopefully they're friendly enough.Rather weird that we're the first ones here though... Especially since we left from breakfast so late, and took our time getting here. I guess everyone else is reluctant to stop talking with their friends too. He heard the door open a tiny bit and turned to see a girl with black hair, her head covered by a hoodie. She glanced around warily, and she met Orion's eyes. He smiled, and she gave him a tiny smile in return. She moved away from the door and leaned against the wall, obviously unsure what to do. Orion wanted to call out to her, but he wanted to let the teacher talk to her first. Maybe the fact that he would know her name (probably anyway) would make her comfortable enough to sit down somewhere. The girl suddenly made up her mind and tentively walked toward Jora and Orion. She asked in a small voice, "Is it okay if I sit here?" She gestured to the chair behind Jora, which was in the corner of the room. "Sure," he said, and the girl slid in the seat.
"Yeah," said Ember, marking the place mentally. She walked to the door of her class, but stopped and turned to give A'ine a small wave. She slipped into the classroom, glancing around warily. The two kids from she had seen walk in were discussing where to sit. A blue-haired boy had just sat down, and turned to look at Ember. She met his eye, and was startled to see they were red, quite a contrast to his blue hair. She leaned against the wall, not quite sure of what to do. Don't be such a coward! Just go sit down somewhere. Easy, you don't even have to talk to the two. They already know each other anyway. But instead of walking to some chair in the farthest corner, she found herself walking toward the two, instead of away from them. She spotted a chair in the corner behind the one where she assumed the girl would sit and asked, "Is it okay if I sit here?" The boy nodded, while saying "Sure," which she found rather funny. She slid into the seat, starting to feel more comfortable. She also found herself wanting to start a conversation, something she rarely wanted to do. Instead, she waited for one of the others to talk. They might not even want to talk to her.

Master Alexander looked at the next student to come in. He thought for a moment. "My dear girl is your name Ember? I need to mark that you are here." He asked after she sat down in her seat not wanting to interrupt her chance of making friends.
_______
Jora sat down next to the window thinking how nice it was for him to let her have the better seat. She watched as another girl came in and asked to sit down behind them and Orion said okay. She looked out the window and grabbed her sketch book out of her sleeve with her thingy. She had painted with it yester day so it was still a paint brush. She waited a moment and picked it up and it changed into a pencil she hoped that this girl or the teacher didn't see it.
@All
A'ine watched Ember go into her school room and she waved back to her friend. She started walking to her classroom and entered. She say A'eda'n in the back of the room and a group of friends in the front and the teacher at the desk. She smiled to the teacher and said "Good morning ma'am." I walk back to where A'eda'n was sitting. I whisper to him "Why aren't you sitting up there with them?" she pokes him in the ribs.
