He stood still next to her, close enough to let her know that she isnt alone, far enough to not stand ontop of her. As she finaly stoped talking, pleading him not to kill her he simply just stared at her. Baffuled by the request he just stood in silence. "Rikki, I would never hurt you, I said that earlier" he replied before making a encouraging sound and licking her gently.As he stoped licking her he gently buffed her with his long neat nose. I may not be much but I will help you as much as I can" he promissed her before gently licking her under her mussle to show that he meant no harm and respected her. She seemed to need the feeling of someone wanting to help her no matter what, of someone standing with her. And in all honesty right now he didnt care about her beeing in heat, he cared for her as a wolf he liked, someone he found intresting. And despite beeing a anoying and naive wolf he realiced that he wanted to spend time with her, get to know her, help her ... it was something he just wanted to do.

The beta felt her body tense and then relax. Her throat tightened but this time her emotions were happy. As he licked her muzzle she muzzled him.The warmth and comfort of another that was accepting something so huge was overwhelming. "I have tried so long with hiding this, even my alpha brother doesn't know...Then you come along, and surprise me." Her voice was soft, tender almost as she licked the side of his face in gratitude. This one her o e and true weakness, and he was giving her kindness instead of cruelty...Her heart shuddered with so many emotions that it had her swaying on her feet. A sharp burst of color lightened the world. Blaen' s outline became a little more readable, not perfect but good enough. She could at least make out the darker colors blending into his orange coat...The image even blurry as it was gave her a joy, every time she went from blindness to sight again gave her an indescribable feeling. It also strengthened the hate in her heart for the wolf named Scar...

Stray lifted her nose to the air again scenting it before walking around the small area several times she could smell it very faint but it was there but where exactly she couldn't seem to pinpoint "It was here, it was here that the bears attacked and it was here that Sand and Snow and i became friends I lived her once for a short time that is why i know my way around i was here in this clearing where we would play and scare any other wolves that happened along" She walked to what appeared to be a mass of foliage and stuck her nose right on it and began to dig until pain shot threw her broken leg "ARGH it's here i know it is just behind here if i could just move this stuff" her anger building she gave one last lunge at the mass and it broke inward opening up into a cave like tree that seamed completely hollow inside

The fall hurt Stray's leg bad but that didn't matter to her she tried to stand only to fall back down

After the male woke up a string of questions came who was she why was he here this pup must be stupid she thought that is why his pack left him she didn't have a chance to answer his question before he started howling in an attempt to quiet him she lunged at the cage growling "Be quiet or you will wake him" she growled looking back toward the bedroom where her human slept he stirred but didn't wake and a good thing to she laid down i front of his cage "Your here because my human saved you from those that would have killed you or worse as for your family i don't know but there not here and about the cage your in there to protect you from me" she said in a tone that made her sound older and wiser than her body appeared "You must be hungry and thirsty" Shadora went to the kitchen and jumped on the counter and opened the cabinet and pulled out a bowl just small enough to fit threw the bars of the cage she set it in the sink and turned on the water filing the bowl up before picking it up and carrying it into the living room she set it on the floor and carefully nosed it to the cage where he could reach without moving before going back to the kitchen and getting a bowl of food out of the fridge and putting it in the microwave she let it heat for a minute before taking it back into the male and nosing it to the cage so he could eat she wasn't aware that the male had seen her use not only the sink but also the microwave but he had for his cage sat in the perfect spot to look into the kitchen "I won't give you my name until you give me yours and you were having a nightmare and making to much nose so i woke you up" she said laying back down in front of the cage and waiting for him to respond

Rain tensed, this wolf was nuts. Worse being he was not in his territory...He looked at the bowls wearily, why would a wolf use two leg contraptions? He bent down and sniffed at the food and water wondering g if he was already drugged or poisoned. Rain couldn't control the yelp of pain he made as he lifted he head back up to stare at her. "From the smell of this place I have been here longer than I'm aware. So the question is which of us do you wish to know the name of?" Rain' s bright blue eyes darkened to a near pitch black for a moment as Rago rose to the surface. Wanting to check the food out himself. Sniffing at the Thu g in the bowl a minute he nodded. As he faded back into the back ground Rain swayed on his feet, they were both whipped. .. cautiously Rain took a bit of the weird food looking at th female as his eyes went back to bright blue... He carefully lapped at some water. Wincing as his raw throat burned as the liquid went down.

(*facepalm* why do I have this weird feeling poor Raja I being ignored...)


Raja grunted, he followed Stray even as he wondered if talking was worth the effort. Stray seemed determined to do whatever it is she was doing. He flinched when she yelled but stayed back no wanting to get in her way. " No large cats would ever consider living in the plains, and not the at from two legs either..." His word see merely a whisper as he slowly followed Start and saw he laying inside a dark hole...

"Both it was a simple answer but she thought she knew what he meant for she had the same problem well not really a problem but still she could understand "You have been her for around two weeks your wounds are healing nicely you feel groggy and sleep most the time because of the pain medication you are on little things that my human gives you to help with the pain he did the same for me once when my paw got cut and infected" she paused for a minute giving his brain time to process before continuing "you are not in the wild now you can't be up at two in the morning howling at nothing you will get us all in trouble and then they will take you away to a place far worse than this i was there once i know it is dark there and there is never any light or grass or sky only gray concrete and the humans are mean they kick you and hit you with sticks no matter how young old or injured or sick you are they force us to walk around and for there entertainment and there is very little food or water most die within a week and the smell it reeks of death" a shiver ran down her spine as she remembered the awful place she stood up and shook herself to get rid of the shiver before laying back down "But that's right i did ask you what your name's were didn't I" she said waiting for there names

(he isn't being ignored she just knows what her nose is telling her)



Stray final was able to stand on her own she walked into the hollowed out tree and sniffed the ground circling once twice then going to a spot where a little what pool sat and right next to it was root sticking out of the ground she walked beside it and there she could smell it Snow poppy's "Raja come here i need your help" Stray hated to ask but this was important and she knew it this could be a link to her memory

Rain tilted his head ignoring the pain for a moment. He couldn't process this kind of stuff, it was just too heavy and Rago didn't seem to be waking up any time soon. Which left Rain confused, stick with the simple stuff. Rago' s gravelly voice was distant and weak. He had been awake too long and he had been the one to experience whatever torture that got them in their present state. "I'm Rain, my eyes are sky blue and I tend to be the nicer one." Taking a deep breath and a moment to rest his jaw and throat before continuing. "Rago will have darker blue eyes and even black sometimes, he is the blunt and protects me against the bad stuff." Rain whispered, for a terrible feeling had taken root in his heart. He felt something missing, and not just because he was not with his family or in his territory or even the wild anymore. A deep growl echoed in his mind, telling Rain to stop this train of thought. A low drawn out whine left his mouth, for there was only one reason Rago would forbid him to think about his pack...His shineing blue eyes crashed into the she wolf's. " Where are my pack, she wolf?" His voice was the deepest and most commanding it had ever been, Rain wasn't the commanding type. Yet a desperate need to know overthrew Rago' s howls of protest as his brother tried to stop him from digging. His eyes showed the inner battle within as the fear that consumed him.Where was his pack, where was Raja and Rikki?

Raja listened as Strays voice rose above his contemplation. Moving and a steady pace he reached her side rather quickly. "What do you need?" He scanned their surrounding, it was damp, dark and had a strange smell to it...
