Meinke nodded. Then blinked. "Wait, ma'!?, is-is there anything specific giu wish me to do?"

Horace finished his current work, which wasn't much since he did most of it last night. The constant lack of sleep was the reason why he always had coffee at hand. He yawned and stretched. He would give himself more work at night, while gazing at the heavens once more. He still felt awake from the caffeine, so he decided to go outside again.
This time he walked towards the lake and down to the beach. Tourists were playing in the water and sand. He ventured off to the quieter parts of the beach. He started playing with his marbles while staring at the waves in the ocean, spacing out.

Horace thought about what he should do next as the waves lapped at the shore. He wasn't used to having this much free time, he usually was asleep or working during this hour.
He stepped a bit closer to the ocean's waters. He extended his hands out and tried to control the currents. Of course, nothing happened. He never received any formal training for his magic, he just did what he saw one of the Arim's children did once.
What a waste, having magic, but not being able to use it. He sighed and looked to the horizon. He thought glumly about his lack of magic skills and other stuff he thought was reasonable to be glum about. He then snapped to attention when he heard some people yelling as they got pulled by a riptide. And soon enough, the riptide's pull magically disappeared when Horace stopped being glum. Perhaps that was just a coincidence?

Horace continues to space out while fidgeting with his marbles.

Mira stopped and looked back at him. "I just need you to help with security. I can't allow anything to go wrong." She said simply. She smiled then continued on her way.

Avalee stood up. She grabbed her bag and started towards the beach. When they got there, she began to throw a ball for her dogs. They happily barked and chased it. She laughed, her headache beginning to go away.

Meinke nodded, then went out onto the town. Keeping an eye out for trouble. Though he didnt look very menacing with his hands wrapped up in bandages....because that was most definitely the best way to scare people-a guard who couldn't use hi hands at all. Mostly, anyways.
Selma was just walking around, her hood up, and her travel pack kept close to her. Looking and listening for any sign of interesting news.

Horace looked over to their direction, watching them for a while. He wasn't in the mood to start a conversation though. He turned his attention to the ocean and the coastal towns near it.

Crimson barked and started bounding towards the ball Avalee had just thrown. He crashed into Horace then stumbled backwards, whining. Avalee ran over to her dog, Juniper quickly walking behind her. "Oh my goodness! Crimson, my sweet boy, are you okay?" She yelled. She looked up and nervously laughed. "O-oh! You too! Are you okay sir?" She asked Horace.

"Oof!" He dropped his marbles and staggered a bit before regaining balance. He did not see that coming. "I'm fine," he said. He took the marbles off from the sand and brushed the sand off of it. "Er- what about your dog?"
