alpine sees her and decides to go over and say "hi how are you today?"

Lakron

His ears perked when he heard Mist's growl. Lakron loped over, slowing to a stop next to her. His nose crinkled in disgust at the scent of the rotting carcass. Picking up the faint scent of Vern, Lakron looked at Mist " We should find Vern and report to the Alpha. " he grunted.

"Agreed," Mist grumbles softly looking at the rotten body, feeling sick, who left fresh-kill rot?
"You should go find Vern, I'll bury the squirrel," Mist said giving the squirrel one last disgusted sniff before starting to dig a small hole, wanting to bury it so foxes would not come for it and invade their territory.

Larkon

Lowering his head to the ground, he snuffled around trying to track Vern. Larkon shook his head to in frustration, he couldn't smell anything over the stench of rotting flesh.
Wondering a little ways further into the underbrush to get away from the stench. He caught a whiff of the pups scent at the base of a tree.
" I found his trail " he quickly barked back to Mist.

'I am well Alpine. Thank you." Min said gently. She smiled at him and nodded. "I hope you are as well." She stated.

He glanced at Vern, his ears perking up in surprise. "What're you doing out here, little one?" He asks, dropping the rabbit at his feet before sitting down to speak to the pup. "You should be back with the pack, not out here, pup." He scolds. "They will surely be looking for you by now, we shall stay here until they see you are fine." He nudges the pup's head gently.

Vern looked down, embarrassed, "I wanted to explore," He said quietly hiding his head in his paws, "Mom was asleep so I thought I could."

Winter looked around, spotting some of her packmates she went over to them, "Have you seen Vern? I just checked around camp but I don't know where he is."

Mist let out a sigh, "maybe the others know where he is, why don't you ask, I'm sure they have seen him."

He shakes his head, letting out a long howl to alert the others of his whereabouts. "They others will come to get you soon. Your lucky I found you little one, it's dangerous out here for pups like you." He nudges Vern gently, keeping him close as he stays alert.

Lakron

Lakron's ears perked up as he heard Cas's howl. Pinpointing where he was, Lakron took off at a sprint towards Cas's location. Skidding to a stop in front of Vern and Cas, he nudged Vern checking him over for any injuries. Sighing he sat on his haunches and lightly scolded the pup.
" Vern you should know better than to wander off on you own. " he said looking at Vern with stern yellow eyes.
