Winter sighed. "Fine. It was inevitable anyway. And the only reason I'm here is for Midnight Sunset anyway. I don't know why. I just felt it calling to me. She is very coldhearted, just saying, and smart. And me... The reason I killed the serpent was because of my battle skills and instincts. Why am I even telling this to strangers, I don't know. All I know is that I probably need your help, or I'll fail."

"Yeah, the serpent bit me... But I don't really care. It's better than having it kill me. It's not even that bad, and it doesn't even hurt." The truth was, Winter was worried about Night far more than himself. Even if he had acknowledged that his wound hurt like the devil, which it did, he wouldn't have said so just so they would take care of Night first. "Was the serpent poisonous?" He asked, realizing the possible dangers and praying they didn't exist. "And, if I may ask, who the devil are you two?"

"You're palace messengers?! Now I'm ashamed, I should have treated you with more respect. My name is Winter Breeze, but most just call me Winter. I came from my horrible pack after 'the other bulbori', Midnight Sunset, Night for short, because the pack tortured her. I don't want her to get mad at me, so I probably shouldn't say any more about her and let her speak for herself when she wakes up. Also, please, take care of Night before me. If she dies, I've failed. I'd be alone, because if I went back to my pack they would kill me." Tears started streaming down his face just at the thought. "Thank you." It was hard to say, but he said it.

Riorie: There's no need to thank me. We're here now *places down the bulbori and lands, he then walks up to the door and pushes it open.* Come on Spri.

Sprite: *Flies through the door* Clear that table Ri!

Riorie: *swipes table clear brushing off any dust*

Sprite: *murmurs a spell releasing night off of her back and laying her down on the table. She opens her bag and pulls out a jar of clear gel, bandages and herbs* Ri the herbs are for him *looks towards the white bulbori* Sorry, please excuse my manners, I'm not sure of your name. *She quickly turns back and opens the jar, tipping some of the thin gel out over the bulbori's wounds before bandaging it up* Excuse me *looks towards Winter* it's probably better if you stay by her as when she wakes up she won't want to see a strangers face.

"Yeah, you're right about that. Though I hardly talked to her until today..."

Night's foot kicked a few times and she yawned, opening her eyes. "Winter. C'mon dude. Why the devil are you here?"

Winter was taken slightly aback. "Seriously? I just killed a devilling poison serpent and I get that crap? If it wasn't for me you'd be dead!" He instantly regretted what he had said. "I mean... Welcome back to the world! he smiled.

Night glared at him. "I'm not buying that devil's crap. Seriously, why are you here?"

Winter closed his eyes and hung his head. "To save your life." he whispered.

"You never gave a devil's crap about be before I left!" she spat.

"I loved you the second I saw you!" he yelled, without thinking. He instantly felt a pang of fear as Night's eyes widened. He hadn't meant to tell her that for a long, long time! It was the whole reason he felt like he should have saved her, but...

"I- I mean..."

"You mean you loved me the second you saw me." she whispered.

"Devil's flipping crapsicles. Why..."

"You loved me. You still do. That's why you saved my life."

"This isn't the time for this...!!!!!!"

"You want me to pretend you never said that?"

"Yes."

"Fine."

With that, they both shut up.

Sprite: *giggles slightly, hiding it by pretending to wipe her nose* Are you two feeling ok now? We won't set off to the palace yet, we'll wait till it's about midday when it's brightest.

Riorie: Spri, do you think the thing the time keeper went back for is still here? I mean she got abducted so it's unlikely she found it before then.

Both Winter's and Night's eyes widened. "Who the devil is the timekeeper?" Night asked. "They're palace messengers, Night..." said Winter. "Do I look like I give a crap?" "No." Winter replied honestly. "Also, we'll need somewhere to live. Where should we set it up?"

"I am not living with you."

"Yeah, you are."

"I'm not living with a devilish piece of crud."

"I saved your life."

"Point being..?"

"Point being you're in no condition to build a house for yourself. Not to mention you'd be dead without me."

"Flipping crap."

"I know, right?"

"Yep."
