I'd also like to point out that a lot of stables are given away - in many official hosted forum games that are open for one of four seasonal festivals (as well as a lot of side festivals, like the Week of Love and Fourth of July), prizes for said contests and events do usually include free stables. It's actually a pretty common prize.

I feel like the reason you are complaining about this is lack of effort. No one else has really ever brought up the point of stables being unaffordable if they've spent the appropriate time grinding to afford them. Idk, that's just me tho.

I agree on the option of getting gold to buy an Additional Stable. It might be 500K for one? On special events, it might have a discount. Not sure.

Considering that the normal exchange for diamonds to gold is 2k gold to 1 diamond, a new stable in gold would be more like 1 million gold (800k when on sale). Given that diamond purchasing is how this game stays open, I think that, if there were a gold option for stables, it wouldn't be too far off of those numbers so that diamonds would still be a desirable option. That said, I'm not opposed to the idea of a gold option ^.^

In the same vein, wouldn't be opposed to tab purchases having a diamond option.

Also, I remember there was a suggestion to make stable tokens (similar to the avatar tokens) that could be sold/gifted to others instead of just getting a stable for yourself if you win a game that has a stable as a prize. This way someone who didn't need another stable could trade/sell that stable to others that do need one. I think this would also be a good option for different ways to obtain new stables.

yup i suggested this cause niv and i were running games and we would have loved to give a stable token as a prize. We are likely not doing xmas games this year

Another site I play did this.

They used to give away free lair space all the time, so some players had literally hundreds of slots that were obtained free. However, many players wished that they could give away some of that space, because they never used it, and newer players would find it much more useful.

So, we got 'habitats' that can be given away or sold now, and everyone loves them.

So, I think something like a stable token would be great, so that players who don't need the stables, but want the rest of the prizes from whatever forum game they are playing, can sell/give those stables away if they wanted, but they can still use them if they wanted as well.
