Unlocking his knees, Justus began stretching and stamping his hooves up and down several times to warm them and get the stiffness out of his body. It made quite a clamour on the wooden plank floor and caused some gentle vibrations that might otherwise be considered uncomfortable. "Rise and shine dozy chops." Justus said to Vixen with a gentle nosing of his muzzle against her ear, then the back of her head. "We've been blessed with good morning weather. If we waste it now we may get stuck someplace we can't shelter against the cold."

Levy had only managed to get a few books packed before the group was moved, and Vixen only manged to hang onto the pillow she was sleeping with.
