Arlo looked around, finally spotting the egg. It was glowing and cracking. He hurried towards it, sitting down next to it. He didn't know what to do, what was supposed to happen. He watched in silence for about a minute before a head poked out, then a small little baby crawled it. It looked a lot like his mother, with blue and purple scales, the only different was it was way lighter, with an almost white underbelly. It looked at him with wide orange eyes. He stared back at it.

"Wow~" She couldn't stop herself from gasping, she had never seen something so pretty.
She batted at a flower, watching it bob side to side. Her tail swished playfully. She wanted to jump on it, but forced herself not to. She then turned her attention to the water, dabbing her paw into the water. Her eyes wide and playful.

D noticed he was awake and noticed the baby but couldn't stop her own tears from clouding her vision. Luke was in the corner of Arlos' cell, navy blue eyes dark as he was holding a thick chain in his hands. He was going to chain Arlo up.

Vivi noticed she was awake and gave a small smile.

Arlo watched the baby, he could tell just by it's face that it was a girl. He picked her up, cradling her in his arms.
"Hey little angel," His pads hummed softly as the baby watched him, then copied him.
"Heyfth," Her pads vibrated and Arlo held back a smile, she was so cute.
"I'll call you Nia," He told her and she smiled at him.
"Nittah," She tried to copy him.

Missy finally noticed Vivi, her faces going all shades of pink.
"Hey. Where you w-watching me," So many thoughts where going through her mind, not helping to calm herself down at all.
She wasn't really angry, just curious, "Where are we?"

D tried to pull at her cuffs but she was stuck and could barely move.

Vivi smiled to her, blushing a bit. "Maybe. And this is the back garden here at the lab, sometimes we try to take stressed out specimens out here ... that's if they let us try and help them. We usually bring the impregnated ones here, but they usually don't want to leave their cell. Probably to protect their coming young."

(Yup, I'm totally smart xD )
Arlo seems to finally notice Luke and held Nia closer to himself. He turned to look at D, staring at shock at how little space she had to move. He gently placed Nia on his back, who clung onto him like a burr. Then he ran towards the door, pushing it as hard as he could, trying to open it.

Missy noticed the blush right away, Does she like me? No... that couldn't be possible, I'm a monster, that's what they call me. It's just wishful thinking, she let out a tiny sigh, tail swishing a tiny bit.
"They get fresh air often right," She asked remembering when her owner Isabell wouldn't let her outside for a month, that was very boring and stressful, "Because if I don't get fresh air I get stressed."

Luke watched him and the baby closely. "They reinforced the locks once you both left, word gets around fast here and so does orders."

Vivi nodded. "We at least try to let them out here, the young ones like to come out to get some fresh air. But after a while none of the specimens want to go anywhere or leave their cells, except for an escape."

(Awww, thanks =3... I do have trouble believing I'm smart sometimes *Watches survival shows* I feel so smart now xD )

Arlo pouted, pressing his front paws against the door one more time before turned to Luke, watching him with narrowed eyes as he spotted the chain. Nia watched Luke too, but her gaze was more curious then aggressive.
"Orpthers," Her pads hummed softly as she opened her wings.
She fell / jumped off of Arlo's back, landing on the ground. She then ran in circles, pads humming nonsense.

"That's kinda sad," Missy said thinking about what it must be like for them, all she could think of is how scary it would be to be away from home.
Isabell! She seemed to finally realize how long she had been away, "I have to go back home or Isabell will wonder where I have gone," She was a little sad to leave Vivi, but Isabell meant a lot to her.

Luke seemed to soften up as the baby started running around. "...Wha..." He seemed to have a soft spot for small creatures.

Vivi's shoulders slumped a bit but she nodded. "Alright." She said, trying to act like she didn't care. Trying.

(Awww, so cute. I need a cat *sighs* to bad I'm allergic. Thanks, I needed that =3. I try not to get lonely but with covid around it's hard (I'm scared to hang out with people))

Nia stopped suddenly, staring at Luke. Arlo was about to pick her up when she zoomed forward, jumping and grabbing Luke's leg. She started to try and naw him, enjoying herself. Arlo was shocked, not really wanting to go near Luke but not wanting Nia to get hurt.

Missy nodded, "I'll come back and visit," She held up a paw and a portal appeared.
She waved at Vivi before walking through the portal to her home, the portal closing behind her. She would come back, that's for sure. She was hungry right now, so she wanted breakfast really bad or whatever meal it was.
