Lilja began following Amani, since it seemed to be an ice dragon temple, and she was an ice dragon.

Ben and Sabrina followed along as well after a second of hesitation. The banister was topped off with scuffed up ice. The symbols and images had a sliver of ice at the bottom of them as well. When the reached up to the top of the staircase they could see that certain features of the statues were also made up of ice, like their eyes and the top of the dragons' spikes.
There was a sign above the door, written in more strange symbols that were written in black (you guessed it) ice. When Amani tried to enter, she was held back be some strange invisible force and turned around to look at the others. "There must be some sort of warding protecting this place. It's not letting me in," she said and shook her head. Ben pressed his hand into the invisible barrier and turned his head to look at Lilja. "Maybe it'll let in Lilja," he said.
(I just realized I forgot to mention they shifted back. In my head they're in their human form. Uh, I'll leave it up to you about what form they're all in.)

It was first cold and hard like a wall of ice before it allowed her to come in. "What's in there?" Ben asked.
The floor of the temple was covered by a tall layer of shaven ice. There were ice sculptures of pine trees, reindeer, wolves, snowshoe hares, and ice dragons. The reindeer were looking up as they were eating grass. Wolves paused to take at look at the same thing. Snowshoe hares glanced at whatever it was mid-hop. Ice dragons, both on the ground and in the air, were either bowing down or making a strange gesture with their talons.
In the center of it all was some sort of ice goddess or deity. She had long flowing hair and was holding a crystal. She had some dragon features mixed in, such as some scales on her checks and horns on her head as well as a dragon's tail behind her.

" um...a lot of ice sculptures...and some type of ice dragon goddess. " She called back out to them. She approached the middle statue, examining her to see if she recognized her from the books she used to read.

The goddess didn't seem to match up with any description or image in any written or illustrated records. There was an inscription near the goddess, but it was written in more strange and unrecognizable symbols. The goddess statue seemed to be staring right at Lilja by the way it was positioned.

She ran her hands over the inscriptions, then turned and looked at the crystal she was holding. She reached out and touched it.

A sharp sensation was given in response. Black shards of ice were embedded where her hand had made contact with the crystal.
A couple moments later a yelp of surprise could be heard from behind. Amani fell backwards at the entrance and into the layer of shaven ice. There was the sound of surprised laughter. Ben entered the temple with an amused look and Sabrina followed close behind. "You should have seen the look on your face," Ben said. Amani glared at him before she heaved herself up to sit up. "You know, a little warning would have been nice- Woah, that is a lot of ice sculptures."
(I wasn't sure if I should have included the second paragraph or not, but I did anyways and I hope I don't regret it later. At least I'm less likely to forget the others' existence now.)

Lilja immediately pulled her hand away, glancing towards the crystal then towards the group. " Yes. It is quite amazing. " she replied, looking at one of the dragon sculptures.

The closest ice dragon sculpture was of a female bowing down with her eyes closed. A small girl dragonet was mimicking her mother while under her wing.
"Is there anything else here besides statues?" Ben said. Amani admired another ice sculpture while Sabrina reached out to touch one.
(I drew Lilja from a part of her scene. I might color it eventually.)
