Shane~

"Well, I don't know much, but from what I've heard, a kelpie is kind of like a horse that lives in the swamp. They're evil creatures, and drag people to their underwater death." I say. "Don't worry, though. I've never seen this kelpie, and I go here almost every day. Ready to go?"

"Yeah!" She said with a slight bounce in her step catching up to him

The werewolf leader followed Shane and called out,"I have seen this kelpie! Be careful!"

Shane~

"Okay, but we'll be fine!" I shout to our leader, Culon. Turning back to Nicole, I say "Follow me. And step exactly where I step. A newcomer like you might step in some of that sucking mud, and then you'd be as good as dead." I walk forward a few steps, then look back to make sure she's following.

She followed as he said staying close on his heels

(Zarawhait, I was refering to Nant my kelpie :P)

Nant

It had been a long day for Nant. The horse she was breaking had been doing great, but had got a fright from a car going too fast and had been jumpy for the rest of the day. On top of that a wolf had wandered right up to her then rushed of. It's not my fault my eyes glow red when I'm a kelpie. She thought bitterly, screwwing up her eyes to emphisise this to herself. Her large ears swiveled. Voices... She trotted towards the sound and hid close by, trying to see -which was hard as she was squinting to try and remain unseen.

(Peg, Kate, are you wolves or people right now?)

(Still wolves I think)

Nicole padded farther ahead with a slight skip in her step as she looked at all of the plants and vines in the swamp. She quickly remembers Shane's warning " It looks pretty solid right here and not quite as swampy" she said stoping and letting him go ahead of her again. She could sometimes get ahead of herself and not follow directions but her gut told her now was not the time to disregard orders.

(We're still wolves. Shane doesn't change into a human when he's around anyone.)

Shane~

I look at the ground where Nicole was standing. "You're right. This isn't far from where I usually go. And what happened to 'step where I step'?" I tell her. I trot forward until I am ahead of her again, then jerk my head, signaling for her to follow me again. Not waiting to check if she was, I pad carefully to my usual spot, which was another minute of walking away.

More wolves? Nant thought to herself, opening her eyes slightly wider. Wonder if they knew the other one? She shook her head, sending plantlife everywhere. SPLAT. One large weed hit one of the wolves in the face. Nant stared, frozen with shock.

Nicole let out a yelp of surprise when the weed hit her face. She shook it off quickly and she froze her whole body going on defence. "Shane, There is some thing over here" She barked. Her ears swiveled searching for any sound and her tail swayed silently As her large hazel eyes searched the brush. She growled slightly as she caught a pair of large red eyes in the darkness. She knew the Vamp's camp was near by her roommate went to meetings there every now and then And still does sometimes but she is not really thrilled about it. Especially after they had tried to kill her and Nicole last semester. " Show yourself!" She snapped to the one lurking in the shadows.
