I am quite paranoid about something. I didn't have a credit/debit card until recently (And never would have if it wasn't for the fact that my dad wants something that requires me ordering it from online.) Im sure that there are others that don't want a credit card or have a bank account to buy diamonds with.
On another site that I use, there is something called Zeevex that didn't require a credit card. You made an account, brought the amount of cards that equalled up to the sum you needed (2000 Zeevex = $20), scratched out the password, put it in, and used the amount on your Zeevex account.
I think that there are others that work like that. I hope that you can use something like that on your site one day, because that genetic scanner and genetic test kit look quite attractive right now.

Syl does payments through paypal, which I believe allows you to use prepaid visa cards. You might want to look more into the paypal website on it to be certain (as I haven't actually done it myself) but from my understanding you can go pick up a prepaid visa card and use that to make payments.

Zeevex isn't really for us. In order to be on Zeevex, you have to apply. Conditions are that you have to basically have a lot of sale traffic. On top of that, it costs money and they also take a decent cut from every sale.

Over the past year, we've never really had any issues with PayPal and the few times there have been, we're always 100% willing to do whatever we can for the customer.

Our checkout is also done directly through PayPal - no 3rd party. We also collect basically 0 information about your payment info. The only way your payment information could be compromised is if you had malware on your computer that was spying on your payments.

There might be more, but I know for certain you can pay with Credit Cards, Debit Cards, PayPal Balance, and E-Checks. You also can use the Visa Pre-paid Debit Cards. You would just have to add the card to your PayPal account before you use it.

I use a similar scratch-and-add thing for Paypal. It's called Green Dot (a card you can buy from walgreens or any convenient store of a famous name). You pay however much money you want plus a $4.95 processing fee (which I don't mind because there's no other way to buy diamonds, so I always buy more than $20 per go, and I only bought diamonds twice so far since I started playing), then redeem the card (scratch off code on back) on a paypal account. Money gets added to your account, which you have to spend first (which you can spend on Sylestia).

I recently got busted for being underage, so I can't use my paypal as of yet (darn, had to ask someone else T__T), but once I'm 18, I can do the above whenever I want. c:

I'm also pretty sure that you can use paypal cards through PayPal... That's what they were made for... They are just like any other gift card. You have to put money on the paypal card, then transfer that money from the card to your paypal account. You don't use paypal cards like credit cards where the money goes straight through from the card to the game. You use the cards to put money onto your paypal account that sits there until you use it. (like a bank account, but not really)

I know, I was just thinking of people that are too paranoid to get a card that requires a Social Security Number. That was what had me chicken out of my Green-Dot card. I made myself get the Paypal card to get dad something, but if I chickened out on that too... I guess I have to be brave. But those reports of identity theft have me nervous. People that thought their info was safe winding up with their life being messed up has me too nervous to even get a bank account.

Doesn't help that I had someone very suspicious calling about a Mastercard. At that time, I DIDN'T have a mastercard. My Green-Dot (that I didn't even activate because of the fact that It needed my SSN) was the only card I had, and that was Visa. When I told them that, they hung up. That definitely didn't help matters.

You don't need to give your SSN for a paypal card... And if you don't want to use a paypal card, you can buy Visa or Mastercard GIFT cards. You don't need your SSN to buy one and they can be used anywhere that accepts major Credit Card brands, including PayPal. (Remember, these are GIFT cards, not credit or debit cards so none of your personal information would be needed for you to buy them and only a billing address is needed for you to use them online.)
