A little over a year ago astronomers studying the stars in the constellation of Orion. One night, as the astronomers were shifting their telescopes they saw an anomaly on the slow motion screen. One of the stars vanished for a moment before it reappeared. At first they thought it was imcompleted data but upon further investigation they discovered a black flare erupting on the surface of the star. They calculated, from the speed it had risen and vanished it was travleling faster then the speed of light and the energy would reach the earth in one year. A month ago the energy hit the earth, the energy hardly effected the earth. The energy was greatly deminished from the journey but it still had a lasting effect. Shortly after the energy finished passing the earth, odd things started to happen. Seemingly random people began getting unexplainable powers. The governments of the world combined their separate influences and acquired property for those who had gotten effected to live. They asked everyone who started to notice powers develop to come.

One of those people was you.

Wow! It's an actual story! I'm so proud of myself! So now you make a post for your characters, and only your characters, no writing yet. Ping me when you make it and then we'll be able to add more as we go.

Name: Lana Grace Bacque
Gender: F
Age: 18
Appearance: Lana is 5'7 with long curly light pink hair. Her left eye is light blue, and the right is a dark purple color. Her skin is pale. (Did I miss anything?)
Powers: Breathing underwater(Only for 5 minutes at a time), Fireballs can come out of her hands(May cause a small burn though, She can make weather(Has a 1 hour cool down)

Name: Kane Dylan Rise
Gender: M
Age: 20
Appearance: Kane is 6'0 and has a normal skin shade. His hair is dark brown, and he has green eyes.
Powers: Flight(No downside), Mindreading(No downside, he seems perfect lol), and Telekinesis( May drop the items)

Name: Archi Ben Aqu
Gender: M
Age: 19
Appearance: 5'7

Powers: Turning into weapons(Can not control what weapon he will be) More to be discovered

Appearance: 5' 5"

Powers: Ability to control electronics (Still practicing but no downside.) hasn't discovered any other abilities.

Powers: Super speed (high metabolism, must consume high quantity of calories) no other powers discovered yet.

Name: Garfeild Logan
Age: 17 (a week away from eighteen)
Appearance: 5' 10"

Powers: Can change into any animal he knows the appearance of (limited by knowledge of animal kingdom.) no other powers discovered

Intro
It is orientation day at the facility. A new group of people with new found abilities have arrived. You are in that group. You have been told by the management that you are free to do as you please, use your powers whenever you wish and speak to everyone as they were friends. The only stipulation, you must go for a weekly check up to examine your powers and their progress.

Kane tried to fly. He flew into the doors, way too fast. "Ahhhh!!!" he screamed as he went headfirst into a wall. He fell to the ground, a bump on his head. Kane got up and decided to walk. He went over to a girl with red hair and a girl with blue hair. "Hi, Im Kane."

Lana walked into the room, seeing a boy bump into a wall. "Hmm, I wonder if he's okay?" she kept walking until she saw someone to talk to. She walked to a boy with brown hair. "Hi, I'm Lana."

Sofie flinched when the boy his the door. "Hi,Kane,I'mSofiethatwasanawfulhityoutookthere,areyouokay?" She said lher voice quick. She sighed loudly. She really wanted to just talk at a normal pace but it didn't want to let her. She took a deep breath. "Idon'tknowhername, Iliterallyjustranintoher." She said slightly slower.

Joanne chuckled. "And I'm Joanne." She said reaching a hand out to him. "Nice to meet you. Have you figured out were your room in this maze is? I'm almost sure this is a freakin' test for us." She said only partially joking.

Garfield smiled at the pink haired Luna. "Wow someone's talking to me first, that's new." He said with a smile. "Not many people dig the pointy ears. I'm Gar, but please call me BB, it's my new handle I'm trying, nice to meet you." He said reaching out a hand to shake hers. His arms were hairy, a little more then any others would normally be.

Kane nodded. "Wait what did you say your name was?" he looked at the blue haired one. "No, I haven't found my room yet." He looked around the room they were in, there were so many people. "What are you powers..? As you saw, I can fly, sorta."

Lana looked at his arms then shook his hand. "Why BB?" Lana looked around, it looked like she and one other person along with BB haven't shared their powers.
